Maureen L. Warney

Maureen L. Warney (nee Bailey), 61, longtime resident of northeast Philadelphia, passed away with her children by her side on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

Maureen spent her life as a dedicated mother of her five children. She was a very creative woman and passionate with her art. Besides spending time with her family, some of Maureen’s favorite hobbies included painting, drawing and spending her time being as creative as possible. Her artwork is truly mesmerizing, and we are grateful to know many people will always have a piece of her with them, through her art.

Maureen was predeceased by her parents, Lorraine (nee Mullica) and Joseph Bailey; and by her husband of 25 years, Ted Warney. She was the beloved mom of her five children, Caitlin Walsh (Brian), Timothy McCann, Meaghen Schmidt (Jon), Michelle McCann, and Daniel Warney (Marisa Glasgow). Maureen was a loving Mimi to Samuel Walsh; Blayke & Parker Schmidt; and Nathan Gummel. Maureen was also survived by her four brothers Paul (Colleen), Chris, Rick (Bobbi), and Tom (Char).

A visitation for Maureen will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 from 10-11:30am. A service by the family will begin at 11:30am. Interment will be held privately by the family at a later date.
