With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Maximo Maravi Castillo, a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and friend, who passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, just shy of his 101st birthday. Maximo was a kind, genuine, and joyful soul whose presence made a lasting impression on everyone he met. His long life was filled with purpose, family, laughter, and love.
Maximo was a retired agricultural entrepreneur and property manager who took pride in his work and carried that same sense of dedication into his personal life. His energy, warmth, and sense of humor lit up every room. He embraced each day with enthusiasm—whether he was dancing, sharing stories, or treating himself to ice cream—one of the many small joys that reflected his fun-loving nature.
He was incredibly proud to walk each of his four daughters down the aisle—memories he cherished deeply. Maximo also shared a special bond with his sons, especially when it came to fútbol. Watching matches together brought him so much joy. Over the years, he also formed close relationships with his sons- and daughter-in-law and their families, welcoming them into his heart with warmth and kindness.
Maximo valued his family above all else. He never missed a birthday for any of his children or grandchildren, always making sure they felt remembered and loved. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with loved ones, watching comedy movies, and filling every moment with laughter.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 33 years, Consuelo (Vasquez), and sons Angel and Carlos. He is survived by his loving children: Miguel Maravi, Monica Helmick (William), Juan Maravi, Ana Maria Maravi (Guillaume), Angelica Sides (Edward), Eduardo Maravi (Elizabeth), and Veronica Maravi (Patrick). He was a proud grandfather to Valery, Kevin, Jordan, Vanessa, Alejandra, Marie-Sophie, Benjamin, and Paxton. Maximo is also survived by his brother, Amancio Maravi, and many dear extended family members and friends.
A viewing will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
Maximo’s joyful spirit, unwavering love, and vibrant legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
