It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden loss of Michael Christner who passed away on Friday May 8, 2026, at the age of 61.
Mike who was also known as “Taz” to many friends was an avid gear head who was drawn to anything with a motor. He could often be found spending his evenings and weekends working on friends, neighbors and coworkers vehicles and lawnmowers. Mike was known as a fantastic neighbor who was always ready to jump in and lend a helping hand whenever needed.
Mike spent the last 32 years as a dedicated employee of Specialty Ring Products in Bensalem where he was a steel worker. Knowledgeable and incredibly hard working, Mike was well respected by supervisors and coworkers alike.
Born in Trenton, Mike spent his childhood in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Tennessee where he has many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss him. Mike is predeceased by his father Clyde “Bud” Christner and also his sister Shirley Christner.
Mike is survived by his loving mother Maryann (Sikorski) Christner of Morrisville, Pa and his big brother Robert “Kenny” Christner (Paula) of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Michael is also survived by his beloved wife Patricia Christner, to whom he was happily married for almost twenty years. He will be deeply missed by his two cherished daughters Kimberly McQuaid (Jesse) and Selena Christner. Mike was also the most amazing Pop-pop to his best buddy and grandson Charles Gibson who he absolutely adored.
Mike also leaves behind his special puppies Zuko and Azula who will surely miss him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday May 14, 2026, from 11 to 1 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 1 PM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. www.tomlinsonfh.com
