Michael P. Mccloskey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael P. McCloskey, who was born to the late James and Mary McCloskey on January 16, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA. He left this world on July 28, 2024, Michael will be deeply missed by his children, Patricia Tantum (Douglas) and Karen DeSpirito (Louis), as well as his grandchildren, Michelle Campbell (Kristen), Aca Quill (Jessica), Tyler Quill, Karley DeSpirito, and Kerri DeSpirito, his 7 great grandchildren, his siblings, Maryann McCloskey(Jerry), Robert McCloskey (Kathleen), Patricia Engle (Joseph), Maureen McCloskey, and Marilyn Ocharski (Steve), and his many friends. Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Kathleen, and his siblings, Margaret Stevenson and James McCloskey

Michael was the owner of his own business, Michael P. McCloskey Detailing, for over 40 years, and will be remembered for his love of BBQs, entertaining family and friends, restoring old cars, especially Thunderbirds, hunting in the mountains, and his deep affection for dogs. His passion for these pursuits brought joy to all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael’s Visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Monday, August 5th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.

Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
