Michael Joseph Prete

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Joseph Prete, aged 69, on May 13, 2026. Born on July 2, 1956, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Joseph and Marie (nee Cavallier) Prete, Michael was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather. He resided in Bensalem, PA, where he created countless memories with his family and friends.

A true lover of the great outdoors, Michael found joy in hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and create lasting memories with his loved ones. He will be remembered not only for his passions but also for the laughter and love he brought into the lives of those around him.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Theresa Prete, and their three sons: Michael (Kaitlyn), Matthew (Elise), and Nicholas, who will forever carry the values he instilled in them. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Charlotte, and Ellie, who brought him immense joy and pride. Additionally, his sister, Karen (Steve). Michael is preceded in death by his late brother Joseph Prete (Eileen)will cherish their bond and the memories they shared.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael’s visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Wednesday, May 20th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his memorial service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
