Michael J. Visone

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael J. Visone, fondly known as Mike, who left us on Thursday August 7, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on July 28, 1957, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Helen (Oruska) and Vincent Visone. Mike lived a life characterized by hard work, strong values, and a deep commitment to his family and community.

Mike was a proud graduate of Melrose Academy and Archbishop Ryan High School. He dedicated many years to the family business, Cornwells Construction, and was a respected Union Carpenter with Local #1060, serving his trade for an incredible 40 years. His hands shaped not just buildings, but the lives of those he worked alongside. He found joy in helping others, whether it was through his craftsmanship or his kindness, and was known for his infectious smile and warm spirit.

A devoted member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Mike's faith and community were central to his life. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 32 years, E. Holly Fitzgerald-Visone, son Glen Fitzgerald-Visone, his father-in-law Richard Fitzgerald (the late Elaine), and his sister Barbara Maher (Thomas). Each of them carries his memory, and they will cherish the love and lessons he bestowed upon them. Mike was preceded in death by his son, Michael V. Fitzgerald Visone, his twin brother Mark J. Visone, his older brother Vincent Visone.

Relatives (By invitation on only) and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday, August 18, 2025 from 10 to 11 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment will be private. www.tomlinsonfh.com
