Norman F. Buechner of Bensalem passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 08, 2015 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous 6 year battle against FTD and ALS. He was 71 years old. Norm was born in Philadelphia and was a resident of Bensalem for the past 41 years. He was self employed as a HVAC technician. Norm loved working, boating and classic cars but his greatest joy in life was his family. Norm was always willing to help anyone in need and he was known for his beautiful blue eyes and smile. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Carole (Anderson). He is also survived by his loving sons Jeffrey (Tracey), Kevin (Lisa) and Christopher Buechner (Denise); grandchildren Eric, Morgan, Breanna, Alicia, Brittany, Kaylie and Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Catharine Buechner and his sisters Louise, Carolyn, and Kathy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday from 9 to 10:30 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 10:30 AM. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and all of Norm’s caregivers and friends for their continued love and support.
