It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Palmer Craig Denny, who passed away on Sunday on April 19, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on February 20, 1946, in Trenton, NJ to the late Jean (Hayes) and Palmer F. Denny and was a resident of Trevose for over 30 years.
Palmer spent his life as a skilled carpenter, dedicating over 40 years to his craft. He proudly worked on notable projects, including the U.S. Capitol Building and the Delaware Valley Veterans Home, where he left a mark not just with his craftsmanship, but with his warm heart and friendly spirit.Palmer was the embodiment of the phrase “work hard, play hard.” He found immense joy in building and creating with his hands, but his true passions went beyond the workshop. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan; he filled his home with spirited debates about his favorite teams. Nature was his playground, and he could always be found enjoying the great outdoors, especially during camping trips with family and friends.
Family was everything to Palmer. He cherished spending quality time with his loving wife of 47 years, Edna M. (Phillips) Denny. Palmer will be deeply missed by his children; Palmer Curtis Denny (Tara), Yvette Redfearn (Jessie), Jason Michael Denny, and Alicia Lewis (The late Krishan); Proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and dearest brother of Michael Lee Denny and Keith Denny (Angela). Palmer was also preceded in death by his daughter, Ivy Y. Phillips. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and devotion to family that will be celebrated by all who loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday May 1, 2026 from 11AM to 12 PM at the Linconia Tabernacle Christian Center, 2460 Paris Ave, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053, followed by his service at 12 PM. Interment will be private.
