Patricia Anne Gibson-Decker

April 1, 1951 — December 6, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Anne Gibson-Decker, who left us peacefully on December 6, 2024, at the age of 73. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Mary (Jordan) and Francis H. Gibson and was a resident of Bensalem for over 35 years.

Patricia’s vibrant spirit and gentle nature touched the lives of everyone she met.

Pat spent her career as a coder in the healthcare field, dedicating her skills to various hospitals where she made lasting friendships and connections. She was truly passionate about her work, and her warmth shone through in everything she did.

Beyond her career, Patricia found joy in the simple things in life. She had a special love for watching QVC, where she often spent leisurely afternoons shopping for treasures to share with her family. During the holidays, her delicious homemade cookies brought warmth and joy to many gatherings. But what Patricia cherished most was the time spent with her loved ones—her family meant the world to her.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Sidney E. Decker, Jr., along with her son Sidney E. Decker, Jr., and grandsons Kodiak and Darren Decker. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings: Mary White of Swisher, Iowa; Frank Gibson (Kathy) of Langhorne, PA; Kathleen Cody of Bordentown, NJ; James Gibson (Alberta) of Philadelphia, PA; John Gibson of Philadelphia, PA; as well as her sister Dorothy Chambers of Gloucester, NJ and sister-in-law Linda Comstock (Doug) of Troy, NY. Patricia was also preceded in death by her siblings; Agnes Mulvihill, William Gibson, Charles Gibson and Anne Gibson and her granddaughter, Caitlyn Decker.

In honoring Patricia's memory, a celebration of her life will take place at a future date, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and love—just as she would have wanted. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be to the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, see donation link at the bottom of the page. www.tomlinsonfh.com
