Patrick Joseph Shearer

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patrick Joseph Shearer, who left this world on June 13, 2025, at the age of 71. Patrick was born on April 14, 1954, to the late Elmer and Margaret (nee Heininger) Shearer, in Philadelphia, PA, and spent his life bringing joy and laughter to those who knew him. He resided in Croydon, PA, where he became a cherished member of the community.

As a proud Teamster with Local 107, Patrick dedicated his career to the transportation industry, earning the respect and friendship of countless colleagues and friends. His unwavering work ethic was matched only by his commitment to his family, which brought him immense joy and pride.

A devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Patrick is survived by his daughter, Kelly Evans; his son, Patrick Shearer (Kelly), his grandchildren, Patrick (Kirsten), Aryan, Michael (Maddi), Brianne (Nick), and Payton, as well as his great grandchildren, Carson, Winston, Ivy, Archie, Chase, Hudson, and Jude, and his 10 siblings, and many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Beyond his professional life, Patrick was an active member of the Kensington Ramblers, where he was considered an honorary Kenso, and a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. His enthusiasm for life and his ability to bring people together will be beautifully remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Friday, June 20th from 5:00-6:00 PM, followed by his service at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private.
