Paul Minster, passed away peacefully into the Lord’s care on Thursday, August 5th, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was 90 years young. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Reinard and Mary Minster. He was a longtime resident of Bensalem and Langhorne, PA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Hilda of 38 years; his brothers and sisters, William, Reinard Jr., Francis, Florence, Maime, Joe, and Alberta. Paul is survived by his children, Shirley Minster (Terri Lynn) and Paul C. Minster (Loretta); grandson Paul C. Minster Jr. (Lynn); great-grandchildren Nicholas Schmeltzer and Quinn Minster; nephews Reinard Minster (Cass), Gary Minster (Susan); nieces Colleen Sherno (Mike), Bernadette Decker, Melissa Mann, and Katie Martin. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Paul was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. He worked in maintenance at Temple University Hospital for over 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling and was involved in leagues in Bristol, Penndel, and Feasterville. He was also an avid fisherman who enjoyed many fishing trips with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Friday, August 13th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown PA 18940 on Tuesday, August 24th at 10:00 AM. If attending the interment, please be in place by 9:50 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s name to DAV Chapter 49, P.O. Box 490, New Bloomfield, PA. 17068.
