With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pearl Gaughan on June 15, 2024, in West Palm Beach, FL. Born on May 13, 1946, in Bristol, PA, Pearl was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. Before relocating to Florida, Pearl and her beloved husband owned Big Daddy G’s Bar and Restaurant. Years following her move to Florida, Pearl transitioned into a corporate officer role in the heating and air conditioning industry. She dedicated the remainder of her life to working for her son-in-law at the Cool Team Inc.
Pearl will forever be remembered for her love of life and enjoyment of the simple pleasures. From her fondness for trips to the casino and the beach to her passion for gardening and reading, she found joy in the everyday moments. Her competitive spirit shone through in her love for bowling and playing Bunco with friends.
Pearl will be deeply missed by her surviving relatives, including her daughters Rose Lavertu (John), Renee Faunce, Rae Jacker (Dave Upson), and Gina Westbrook (Jonathan), her grandchildren, Tiffany, Ryan, Richie, Jennifer, Olivia, Travis, and Erin, and her great grandchildren, Savannah, J.D, Ryan Jr., Richie III, and Connor. She is also survived by her sister Francine Harris and brother-in-law Charlie Harris, who held a special place in her heart. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, her parents, Earl and Pearl Ellison, and her brother, Earl Ellison Jr.
The funeral services for Pearl Gaughan will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. A public viewing will take place at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on June 23, 2024, from 3:00-4:00 PM, and another public viewing will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 601 Bristol Pike, Croydon, PA 19021 on June 24, 2024, at 10:00 am. A Mass in her honor will be conducted at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on June 24, 2024, at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at St. Mark’s Cemetery
As we gather to mourn her passing, let us remember the laughter, love, and memories she left behind. Pearl's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished her. May she rest in peace.
