Peter E. Samoni

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Edward Samoni, age 58, on Thursday July 31, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Dorothy (Soder) and John J. Samoni, Sr and was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. He was a graduate of George Washington High School, Class of 1986. Pete dedicated himself to his work as a Warehouse Supervisor at Burpee Seed Company for 15 years, earning the respect and affection of his colleagues along the way.

Pete was a loving husband to his wife, Dolores “Dee” (Bagnarelli) Samoni, a cherished brother to his siblings—John J Samoni, Jr (Maureen), Joann Gwiazdowski (Leon), Dorothy Jablonski (The late Richard), Mary Ann Conroy (Frank), Joseph Samoni (Janine) and Theresa Smith (Paul)—and a beloved uncle to his 9 nephews and 8 nieces, as well as his many great-nieces and great-nephews.

He had a way of making everyone feel special and was always there to lend a helping hand or share a smile. In his free time, Pete had a passion for music and loved attending concerts. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies, always cheering passionately for his teams. Fishing brought him much joy, and he enjoyed building model cars and caring for his aquarium fish tanks. A true enthusiast of craft beer, Pete appreciated the simple things in life, especially sharing good times and laughter with friends and family and loved finding new recipes and making them his own.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday August 8, 2025 from 6 to 7 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 7 PM. Interment will be private.

Pete will be deeply missed, but his spirit will always remain in the hearts of those who knew him. As we gather to celebrate his life, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and hold tight to the memories we shared.
