It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond E. Wettlaufer, who left this world peacefully on April 26, 2026, at the age of 78. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on November 28, 1947, to the late Raymond and Elizabeth (nee Quitmeyer) Wettlaufer, Raymond was a cherished brother, cousin, uncle, and a gentle soul who touched the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Raymond spent much of his life in Delaware and Bucks counties, PA, where he was known for his devotion to his mother and his siblings. He lived life with resilience and grace. His warm smile and gentle demeanor will be remembered by his family and friends.
Raymond is survived by his loving siblings: Marilyn Franzi (Joseph), Carol Clark (Mitchell), Donald Wettlaufer (Cheryl), Paul Wettlaufer (Cathy), and Karen Wuchter (the late Carl), as well has his many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was a light in so many lives.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Raymond’s visitation at Langhorne Presbyterian Church, 125 East Gillam Avenue, Langhorne, Pa 19047 on June 22, 2026 from 4 to 5 pm, followed by his service at 5 pm. Interment will take place at Northwood Cemetery.
The family rejoices that Raymond is at home with his Lord Jesus and is finally made whole. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of his family and his God, now and forever.
