Raymund William Wall

Raymund William “Ray” Wall II, of Bensalem, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 1st at the age of 90. He was a graduate of Malvern Prep and George Washington College as well as a proud veteran of the United States Army. Until his retirement in December 2021 after 36 years of service, Ray proudly represented the people of Bensalem Township as Treasurer. In addition to his role as Treasurer, Ray contributed to Bensalem as Vice-Chairman of the 1987 Government Study Commission which successfully transitioned Bensalem government to a more efficient and accountable structure. In his free time, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a Republican Party Committeeman, and he was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ray will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 18 years, Kathryn (nee Rigney), his children: Mary Beth Miranda (Nathaniel), Patricia Ann Baker (Vincent), Raymund William Wall III, Kathleen Stahl (Robert), Marie Pino (Anthony), and Thomas Ellison, his grandchildren: Meghan Wall, Isabelle Miranda, Katrina Wall, Amelia Miranda, Paige Stahl, Tyler Stahl, Cali Pino and Maxi Ellison. Ray’s wife, children and grandchildren were blessed by his love and share countless happy memories especially time together at his second home in Ocean City NJ. In addition to his family, Ray’s loss will be felt by his many life-long friends who became like family to him. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Keogh Wall, his sister Maris Wall, and his grandson, Jake Ryan Wall.

Ray’s deep Catholic faith guided his life of love and service and provided solace during life’s rough patches. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Thursday, March 10th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
