Richard F. Erazmus, Sr. of Gouldsboro, PA passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Geisinger Community Medical Center. He was 77 years old. Born in Philadelphia, Richard was a resident of Gouldsboro for the last 17 years and was formerly of Philadelphia. He worked as a sales associate for Diaz Manufacturing for the last 7 years. Richard was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a practical jokester and always had a smile on his face. Richard also enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR. He was an active member at Saint Rita Church, Gouldsboro, PA serving as an usher for the 17 years. Richard will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Catherine Frances (Hassey) Erazmus. He is also survived by his 4 loving children: Cathy and Frank Curran, Richard and Janice Erazmus, Mark and Alecia Erazmus and Brian And Christine Erazmus; His sister: Janice Trojak (George); 10 Grandchildren: Megan and James Fiorentino, Ryan Skoczylas, Frank Curran, Kate and Chris Wall , Tyler, Alexis, Hunter, Brandon and Connor Erazmus; 5 Great Grandchildren: Jimmy, Morgan and Jake Fiorentino and Sophia and Killian Wall and several loving In-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his siblings: Estelle, Lorraine and Francis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Saturday from 10 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Mass at 11 AM.
