Richard Frank Wilson

Richard Frank Wilson, age 55, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026. Born on July 8, 1970, in Trenton, NJ, to the late Richard D. and Patricia (nee Davis) Wilson, Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many through his kindness and unwavering support.

Richard graduated with a high school diploma and spent his career in the construction industry as a skilled mason, working proudly as a self-employed craftsman. His dedication to his work was matched only by his love for his family. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Colleen Wilson, and three children: Richard M. Wilson, Frank J. Wilson, and Angela Wilson (Daniel Colon). Richard was also a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, Lukas Wilson, Kaylee Wilson, and Eliana Colon. Richard will also be deeply missed by his siblings, Audrey Gobetz (Mitchell), Mary Bullaro, and Denver Wilson (Cherish). He was preceded in death by his son, William T. Wilson.

An outdoor enthusiast, Richard found great joy in fishing at the Jersey Shore, particularly in Belmar and Tuckerton, where he made cherished memories with family and friends. His spirit of adventure and love for nature will be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege of sharing these moments with him.

He will be deeply missed by his extended family and many friends.

Richard’s warmth, kindness, and dedication to family will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, forever cherished by all.
