Richard Louis Klinger

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Louis Klinger, who left this world peacefully on January 11, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on December 14, 1931, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Rebecca and Charles Klinger.

Richard dedicated his life to serving others as a bus driver for PTC/SEPTA for an incredible 40 years. He brought a smile to countless passengers' faces during his time on the road.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. Richard was not just known for his work; he was also a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan who cherished the time spent with family above all else. Summers spent at Bayberry Cove, NJ, family cruises, and magical trips to Walt Disney World were the highlights of his life, creating precious memories that will forever be held close to the hearts of his loved ones.

Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Lorraine (McGee) Klinger. He will be deeply missed by his children: Richard Klinger (Ronnie); Donna Lee Tippy (Bill); Kyle Klinger (Kim); Son-in-law Thomas Culver; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and his sister, Carole Kearney. Richard was also preceded in death by his sons, Michael and Glenn Klinger
