Robert M. Blumenstock

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert M. Blumenstock, affectionately known to many as "Bob” who passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. He was 66 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Teresa (Higginbotham) and Anthony “Jack” Blumenstock. He was a resident of Bensalem for the past 21 years.

For an incredible 36 years, Bob was dedicated to serving the public as a bus driver at SEPTA’s Comly Depot. His passion extended beyond the bus; Bob was a cigar aficionado, often found enjoying a fine smoke at Holt's Cigar Lounge, where he was affectionally known as “Bus Driver Bob”

Bob had an unquenchable love for jazz music, which filled his days with rhythm and soul. Summers at King Nummy Campground in New Jersey were a large part of his life, a time when he cherished a campfire and a cigar on the porch with his family—his greatest treasure.

Bob will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 38 years, Patricia A. (McGee) Blumenstock. He will also be deeply missed by his three adoring daughters, Catherine “Katie" Blumenstock (Christopher Kinney), Keriann Blumenstock, and Kelly Pirmann (Ryan) and Baby Pirmann on the way. Bob will also be missed by his brothers, Jack Blumenstock (Shirley) and Jim Blumenstock (Kim), and many nieces and nephews. He was the grandpop to many loving fur babies. He was a devoted family man whose warmth and laughter will be profoundly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Penndel Mental Health Center.
