Robert J. Butler

Robert J. Butler Jr., a beloved husband, father, son, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on October 14, 2024, at the young age of 54. He was born on November 20, 1969, in Bristol, PA, to Robert and Margaret (nee Adams) Butler.

Bob grew up in Bensalem but often spent time with friends in nearby towns. Bob dedicated his working years to the manufacturing industry as a Saw Operator, contributing his expertise to Load Rite.

In his leisure time, Bob had a passion for rescuing animals and had fostered in the past. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, from spending quality time with his loved ones to indulging in his hobbies of crafting, painting, hiking, exploring, and fishing. He loved the outdoors and had an adventurous spirit. Bob’s greatest joy was being with those he loved most and often using a bit of sarcasm and humor. He loved all kinds of music, but his favorite music was the 80’s which often reminded him of his roller-skating days.

Robert will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his devoted wife Kathleen (nee Price), awesome children Daniel and Alexandrea, mother in law, Eileen Handlin, brother-in-law Frank Handlin and Karen Hanley, nephews Kyle and Adam Handlin, sister in law, Judy Handlin (The late Richard Handlin), nephews, Richard (Jenn), and Glenn Handlin. His warm presence and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Robert’s Visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Saturday, November 2nd, from 1:00-2:00 PM followed by his Service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
