Robert Lee Durringer Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Robert Lee Durringer Jr., who left this world on November 2, 2025, at the age of 48. Born on February 26, 1977, in Dayton, Ohio, to Linda (nee Malcolm) Wentz and Robert Lee Durringer Sr., Robert was a cherished son, devoted father, and a loving brother uncle and friend. 

As a dedicated Lighting Specialist for the Department of Defense, Robert was known for his diligence and professionalism. His service in the United States Air Force, where he held the rank of Senior Airman, was a testament to his commitment to serving his country, a legacy that will forever be honored. 

A loving father to his daughter, Makayla Durringer, and a beloved son to Linda and Steven Wentz and Robert Durringer Sr. his sisters, Dawn Hunter and Lynette Penecale, and their families, including brother-in-law Paul Penecale, nephew Tyler Hunter, and nieces Morgan Hunter (Tyler) and Scottlynn Penecale, and his great nephew, Hunter Sweeney. Rob was preceded in death by his brother Stephen. He touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed. 

Robert had a passion for dart games and target shooting, finding joy in both the thrill of competition and the camaraderie of friends. Rob and Stevie loved going to Boulder Field in the Poconos and riding on the back of Dad’s truck. His adventurous spirit and warm heart drew people to him and created lasting bonds that will carry on in memory. His sudden passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend Robert’s visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Wednesday, November 12th from 6:00-7:00 PM, followed by his memorial service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wounded Warriors Project that supports veterans. A cause that Robert believed in.

Robert Lee Durringer Jr. will forever be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and unyielding spirit. May he rest in peace.
