Robert E. Hanley

Robert E. Hanley, of Bensalem, passed away on May 17th at Jefferson Bucks Hospital. He was 88 years old. Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He started his working career at Badenhausen Boiler Company, worked as a Metallurgist for ETC Manufacturing in Bensalem, and retired from Lavelle Aircraft company. Robert will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 67 years, Margaret (nee Indersmitten), his children: William Hanley (Linda), Carole Orsino (George), Robert J. Hanley (Nadine), and Barry Hanley (Veronica), as well as his 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Adeline, Kathleen, Edna, Susan, Richard, and Edward. Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem Pa 19020 on Thursday, May 27th at 9:30-10:30 AM, followed by his Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
