Robert John Parker

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robert John Parker, who left us peacefully on March 12, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on February 29, 1960, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Samuel and Frances (nee Hussmann), Robert lived a full and vibrant life, marked by his unwavering spirit and dedication to his family and passions.

Robert, a devoted husband to his beloved wife Fay Parker, was also a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his sons, Robert Parker and his wife Crystal, and Thomas Parker, as well as his daughters, Samantha Parker and Kimberly Parker. He took great joy in being “Pop” to his grandchildren, Bobby, Mason, Blaize, Alexis, and Brielle, who brought him endless pride and happiness. Robert will also be deeply missed by his sisters, Peggy Foley (the late Jerry) and Ellen Parker-O’Donnell (John), as well as his sisters-in-laws, Theresa DiStefano (Greg), Lori Hyjurick (George), and Karen Whittaker (Vernon), and “Uncle Bob/Bobby” to his many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy J. Parker and his brother-in-law, Robert Startzel.

A proud veteran of the United States Marines, Robert served from April 29, 1977, until July 11, 1980, achieving the rank of Private First Class. He continued to exemplify the values of duty and commitment throughout his life, both in his profession as a floor mechanic with Parker's Precision Floors Incorporated and as a cherished member of the Mauch Chunk Gun Club. A true motorcycle enthusiast, Robert loved to ride cross-country with Fay, creating a treasury of cherished memories filled with adventure and laughter.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Robert’s visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Saturday, March 21 from 1:00-2:00 PM followed by his memorial service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.

As we gather to honor his memory, we invite all who knew and loved Robert to join us in paying tribute to a remarkable man whose legacy will continue to inspire others. He leaves us with the precious gift of memories that will forever remain in our hearts. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation https://t2t.org/ in his name. www.tomlinsonfh.com
