It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Joseph Sarcewicz, age 69, on February 26, 2025. Born on June 28, 1955, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Victor A. and Theresa F. (née Snauksta) Sarcewicz, Bob was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a lifelong resident of Bensalem.
Bob attended Archbishop Ryan High School followed by LaSalle University where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He had a distinguished career in distribution, serving in leadership roles in operations management for several companies across the Philadelphia area.
Bob was a standout athlete, excelling in both baseball and basketball at Archbishop Ryan and continuing his baseball career at LaSalle University. In 2023, he was honored to be inducted into Archbishop Ryan’s Basketball Hall of Fame
Sports were his true passion, and he dedicated much of his adult life to coaching youth athletics. He coached CYO basketball at Our Lady of Fatima, baseball with the Bensalem Ramblers, and basketball at Holy Ghost Prep, leaving a lasting impact on each organization. Bob was a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan throughout his life and an Eagles season ticket holder for over 30 years where he created many cherished memories with family and friends.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, Maureen Sarcewicz (née Malone), along with his cherished children: Colleen Alcoff (Jonathan), Jeffrey Sarcewicz (Melissa), and Katherine Sharp (Joseph). Robert was also a loving grandfather to Cole Alcoff, Owen Alcoff, and Theo Sarcewicz. He is survived by his brother Peter Sarcewicz (Lisa), and his sister Theresa Lamina, who will all miss him dearly.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a public visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa, 19020 on March 6, 2025, from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
