Robert D. Wheeler

Robert D. Wheeler Sr., a beloved father, brother, and active member of the community, peacefully passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on December 31, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the loving son of the late John and Mary Wheeler.


Robert's passion for craftsmanship and music was evident in his life. He had a remarkable talent for refinishing furniture and took great pride in his work. His dedication extended beyond his hobbies, as he even built his own stereo system, creating a haven of soothing melodies throughout his home.


Beyond his love for craftsmanship, Robert was an active member of the Bensalem Senior Citizens Group and the Rainbow House in Bristol, PA. His compassionate nature and warm presence touched the lives of many, as he selflessly dedicated his time to these organizations, providing support and friendship to those in need.


Robert's professional journey led him to work as a Die Cut Operator in the manufacturing industry, serving with dedication and expertise at Owens-Illinois. His work ethic and commitment were recognized and admired by his colleagues.


Left to cherish his memory are his loving son, Robert Wheeler, and daughter, Patrica Wheeler-Baker, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He is also survived by his dear brother, George Wheeler, who provided unwavering support and companionship throughout their lives.


Funeral services to celebrate Robert's life will be held at the Tomlinson Funeral Home on February 5, 2024, at 11:00 am. Prior to the service, a public viewing will be available for friends and family to pay their respects at 10:00 am.


Burial will take place on February 5, 2024, at 12:00 pm, at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 333 County Line Road, Feasterville Trevose, PA 19053.


Robert D. Wheeler Sr. will forever be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and talented individual whose creative spirit and devotion to the community left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
