It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Edward Marshall, affectionately known by all who loved him, as “Robott”. He left us peacefully on July 10, 2025, at the age of 60. Ron was born on January 18, 1965, in Bristol, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles and Geraldine (nee Anderson) Marshall, and then resided in Bensalem, where he spent his life surrounded by love, laughter, and the vibrant spirit of his community.
Ron was a loving husband to Raeann Foley and a devoted father to his daughters, Traci Curcio (Christopher) and Melissa Foley (Kevin Fox), and was a cherished brother to Jeanne Cotugno (Dom), Charles Marshall (Mary), Lynda Gasper (David), William Marshall (Susan), and Christina Kanuck (Jay). He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Brayden, Michael, Benjamin, Evan, and Blake, as he found his greatest joy in being a Pop Pop. His memory is also cherished by his many nieces, nephews, and so very many friends. Ron’s family was the center of his world, and he took immense joy and pride in their achievements and milestones.
Professionally, Ron worked as a plumber in the construction industry. His hard work and dedication were a testament to his character, as was his unwavering support for his local community. He was a proud member of the Hilltop Athletic Association and the VFW Post 9765.
Ron had a passionate, undying love for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, often cheering (aka yelling) for his team with his opinions. These fun-loving moments were always shared with his family and friends. Aside from his love of sports, Ron also enjoyed the great outdoors, whether hunting with his brother, or fishing for that “big one”
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020, on Thursday, July 17th from 6:00-8:00 PM. A second viewing will take place at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Friday, July 18th from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by his Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
Ronald leaves behind a gigantic legacy of love, kindness, and friendship. His booming voice and love of laughter will continue to inspire all who knew him. His robust spirit and unwavering support for his family and friends will be profoundly missed, but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those he touched. www.tomlinsonfh.com
