It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Joseph Prigge, age 74, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, who went to be with Jesus on July 1, 2025.
Born on February 6, 1951, in Abington, Pennsylvania, to the late Bernard and Frances (nee Geiser) Prigge, Ronald was a devoted husband, brother, and uncle, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Ron served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from March 25, 1968, until March 31, 1971, achieving the rank of Corporal. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to working as a service technician for Hobart for many years. His unwavering commitment and strong work ethic were hallmarks of his professional life.
Ron was a devout follower of Jesus Christ and served God in the music ministry for many years. He was also a man of many interests. He found joy in spending time with his family, and his passion for collectibles, model cars, sci-fi, cameras, and drums brought a spark of creativity and enthusiasm into his life. He was known for his wacky sense of humor and generous heart.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Diane Prigge; his daughter, Jennifer Riviezzo, and son-in-law, Vincent Riviezzo; his brothers, Robert Prigge (Donna), Gerald Prigge (Beverly), and his granddaughter, Alyson. Ronald will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bernard Prigge (Cheryl) and Richard Prigge (Bert).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940 on Monday, July 21, 2025 at precisely 2:30 PM. Anyone attending the service should arrive at the cemetery no later than 2:15 PM.
Ronald Joseph Prigge will forever reside in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
