It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosemary Eileen Litz, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Rose left this world on March 31, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born in Bensalem on August 26, 1940 to the late Thomas and Agnes Lahey, Rosemary spent her life dedicated to her family and home.
Rosemary will be deeply missed by Aloysius (Al), her devoted spouse of 65 years. She is survived by her children: Marcella Tingle (Michael), Aloysius Litz (Rebecca), Julie Nichols (William), Virginia Hannigan (Vincent), Christopher Litz, and her daughter-in-law Hilde Litz. Her grandchildren: Michael, Alexander, Matthew, Melissa, Rachel, Alysha, Ashley, Brittany, Natalie, Brian, Shawn, Steven, Hope, Jamie and Roman will miss her as well. Rose was the proud great-grandmother to Mackenzie, Carter, Jaxon, Marcella, Hadley, Lluvia, Poppy, Mason, and Jack. She is also survived by her loving sister, Virginia Smith. Rosemary was preceded in death by her cherished son, Michael Litz.
Rose leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her nurturing spirit and endless love will forever be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a true Christian, caring for others without judgement or criticism. Rosemary Eileen Litz will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing she was loved beyond measure.
Her life will be celebrated at a viewing that will take place at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
