Ruth Elsie Bussone

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ruth Elsie (Fiorenza) Bussone, who left us peacefully on Friday February 27, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on February 21, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Ruth (Smyth) and John Fiorenza. Ruth spent her life in the loving embrace of her family.

Ruth was a devoted homemaker who poured her heart into creating a warm and welcoming environment for her loved ones. She was not only a mother but also a guiding light for her children, Donna Vafiadis, William Bussone, Jr., and Stephen Bussone (Jean). Ruth delighted in the joys of life, often found wandering the aisles of her favorite store, Boscov's, or enjoying a leisurely meal at Cracker Barrel.

Her greatest treasure was her family. Ruth's grandchildren—Jonathan (Tina), Alexis (Justin), and Noel (William)—were a source of immense pride, and her five great-grandchildren—Anthony (deceased), William, Joseph, Athena, and Liam—brought her endless joy. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will forever be etched in their hearts. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, William Bussone, Sr, her great grandson Anthony Miller, and her siblings, Anna Marie Carraba, Dolores Nedbalski, Ralph Fiorenza, Eleanor Nedbalski, and Joan Kennedy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10 to 11 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 11 AM. A loving and kind soul, Ruth touched the lives of many with her warmth and compassion. She will be deeply missed but will live on in the stories shared and the love carried forward by her family and friends.
