Ruth Hardcastle Wallace

Ruth Hardcastle Wallace, born on September 10, 1931, to the late Raymond and Elvira (nee Bollman) Hardcastle, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at the age of 94. Ruth was a beloved member of her community in Bensalem was especially proud of being a 70 year resident of Nottingham where she shared her warmth and kindness with everyone she met.

Ruth dedicated her life to her family and found joy in nurturing her loved ones. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Holody (Daniel), daughter-in-law Sandra Bevan, son-in-law Ronald Doan, her 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Ruth's love and dedication to her family will continue to resonate through their lives. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry, her son, Robert Bevan, her daughter, Cheryl Doan, and her granddaughter, Julie Doan.

An active member of Peace Lutheran Church, Ruth was known for her compassionate spirit and tireless commitment to her community, including her participation in the Bensalem Seniors Group. Her enthusiasm for life was infectious, and she enjoyed cheering for her favorite teams, the Phillies and Eagles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ruth’s visitation at Peace Lutheran Church, 3900 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Saturday, January 10th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by her service at 11:00 AM. Interment will private. In honoring her vibrant spirit, we will share stories, laughter, and memories that encapsulate the essence of Ruth. She will be deeply missed but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
