Samuel T. Mitchell

Samuel T. Mitchell peacefully left us on December 24, 2024, at the age of 75. Born in Bristol, Pennsylvania to the late Frances (Donahue) and Samuel H. Mitchell and was a resident of Horsham for the past 12 years and formerly of Croydon.

Sam dedicated his working life to maintenance, making valuable contributions at Manor Care, The Wood School, Wood River Village, and Standard Press Steel. Known for his remarkable skills and willingness to lend a helping hand, he truly exemplified what it meant to be a supportive neighbor and friend.

In addition to his professional life, Sam found joy in riding his motorcycle, fishing, and boating—activities that nourished his adventurous spirit and allowed him to create lasting memories with those he loved. Sam was also a proud US Army Veteran.

Sam is survived by his beloved wife, Marjorie (Wills) Wing-Mitchell, and a large family who will miss him dearly including his 10 children: 15 grandchildren and many loving great grandchildren. Sam was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Joanne (Lawson) and his two sons.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Davisville Church, 325 Street Rd, Southampton, PA 18966.
