Sharon Young

Sharon Elizabeth (nee Whelihan) Young of Bensalem passed away peacefully, April 27, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was 52 years old. Sharon was born in Trenton, N. J has been as resident of Bensalem for 14 years and was formerly of Philadelphia. She was employed as a bartender at the Fox Hunt Tavern, Bensalem and Mc Nally's Tavern in Mayfair section of Phila. She is survived by her beloved husband of 11 years Steven C. Young. She is also survived by her step children Diane, Greg (Kim) & Robert Young and her siblings John Whelihan (Dawn), Sue Meissler (Chuck), James (Rose) & Diane Whelihan, Cathy Scribner (Bob) and Patrick Whelihan and her grandchildren Joey and Johnny and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Danny Whelihan and her beloved dog Fritz. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday, from 12 to 2 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 2:00 PM.
