It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Silvio Piccirillo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this life on June 16, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on May 7, 1953, in Italy, to the late Antimo and Rosita (nee Barricelli) Piccirillo, Silvio embraced the American dream and subsequently made his home in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
Silvio was a skilled carpenter by trade, devoting many years of his life to the construction industry, with Revere Suburban Realties as his employer. His hands were not only made for work; they crafted a lifetime of love, warmth, and support for his family. Silvio possessed a deep love for the outdoors, finding joy in fishing and hunting, favorite pastimes that he shared with his loved ones, creating lasting memories in nature's embrace.
He leaves behind his beloved spouse of 51 years, Carmela (nee DiDomenico) Piccirillo, his devoted daughter, Rosita Shaw (Lewis Brown), and his son, Antimo Piccirillo (Michelle), as well as his grandchildren, Silvio, Gianna, and Silvio, and his siblings, Angela, Gennaro, Mario, and Guiseppe, along with many nieces and nephews. The bonds shared among these family members reflect his legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Thursday, June 19th from 10:00-11:00 Am followed by his service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park.
As we remember Silvio Piccirillo, let us find solace in the memories we shared and carry forward his spirit of kindness and devotion. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
