Stephen W. Metcalfe of Hamilton Township N.J., passed away peacefully Friday, April 17, 2015 at the VA Community Living Center in Philadelphia. He was 69 years old. Steve was a born in Philadelphia and was formerly a resident of Croydon and has been a resident of Hamilton Township, N.J. for the past 7 years. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and was a lifetime member of both the VFW and American Legion. He was a member of the Croydon VFW Post #1597 and American Legion # 960. Steve is survived by his beloved wife Patricia C. (nee Mullens) Metcalfe. He is also survived by his three loving daughters Kathleen Metcalfe (Walter), Melissa Small (Andy) and Mackenzie M. Metcalfe; and his beloved sisters Dorothy Warren and Claire Schaeffer (Ralph) and two grandchildren Alexander and Taylor and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2206 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 and again ¬¬¬¬-Thursday from 8:30am to 9:45 am followed by his service at 9:45 am. Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen’s memory may be made to Heroes’ Crossing Hospice & Palliative Care Unit Community Living Center 3461 Civic Center Blvd., Phila., PA 19104.
