Steven John Cook

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Steven John Cook, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who departed this life on July 24, 2025, at the age of 62 after a long battle with many illnesses. Born on May 10, 1963, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Clarence and Marilyn (nee Benes) Cook, Steven lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and resilience.

Steven’s contributions to the community were many. A skilled welder by trade, he operated his own business, embodying the values of hard work and craftsmanship. His generosity extended beyond his profession, as he dedicated significant time to serving others. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus Regina Mundi Council, Steven shared his faith and commitment to community service. He also cherished his role as an Assistant Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America, where he inspired numerous young individuals through his leadership and mentorship. Additionally, Steven brought joy and comfort to patients at St. Mary Medical Center, volunteering his time with Pumpkin, his therapy dog sharing love and companionship during trying times.

Steven is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy (nee Sobusiak) Cook; his sons, Daniel Cook and Joseph Cook; and his brothers Gary (Charlotte), Ronald, David (Bonnie) and Brian (Jennifer) Cook. Steven is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Steven’s viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Thursday, July 31st from 6:00-7:00 PM. A second viewing will be held at Assumption BVM Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville, PA 19053 on Friday, August 1st from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by his Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.

As we remember Steven, we hold his spirit close in our hearts, grateful for the love, kindness and humor he brought into our lives. His legacy of service, compassion and storytelling will be a blessing for those fortunate enough to know him.
