Thaddeus J. Mocarski

Thaddeus “Ted” J. Mocarski of Bensalem passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the age of 72. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thaddeus S. and Anna Maria (Mallardi) Mocarski and was a resident of Bensalem for the past 40 years.

Ted was a hardworking and dedicated individual throughout his life. After earning his High School Diploma from North Catholic High School, Class of 1968, he ventured into the meat packing industry and became a self-employed business owner. For 37 years, he ran Ted Mocarski Prime Meats & Provisions, providing quality products to countless customers.

In addition to his entrepreneurial career, Ted found joy in his position at Surplus City since 1994, where he formed lasting friendships with his coworkers. He was also a proud member of the North Catholic “Misfits” and enjoyed spending his summers in Wildwood, NJ and had a passion for his many collections.

Ted was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia “Pat” A. (Stoltz). He will be sadly missed by his 5 loving children: Matthew Mocarski (Diana), Amy Robinson (Chris), Theresa Beeco (Brian), Monica Mocarski and Patty Mocarski-Rich (Owain). Known as “Pop”, Ted was a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren: Madelyn, Ava, Gatsby, Poe, and Hawthorne Thaddeus. He also leaves behind his loving companion, Linda Caruso and his sister, Anna Maria Lindemuth (Tom), and a wide circle of family members and friends. Ted was also preceded in death by his sister, Carol Karpen (Lenny).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Friday November 3, 2023, from 6 to 8 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, and again Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
