It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Leonard Brady Sr., a loving father, grandfather, and friend, who departed this life at the age of 79 on June 21, 2026. Born on January 4, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Edward and Vera (nee Penchenko) Brady, Thomas will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Thomas dedicated his life to his work as a salesman for Humphries Exterminating, where he built lasting relationships and was known for his unwavering dedication. He held a high school diploma and brought his passion for people into every aspect of his career.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Brady Jr. (Mary), and his daughter, Kimberly Schorpp (Charles). Thomas was also a proud grandfather to Jeramey, Zachary, Brady, and Lauren, and he eagerly anticipated the arrival of his first great-grandchild. He is also survived by his fiancé, Dolly Bowers. His family was the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Brady.
Thomas had a deep appreciation for the wonders of the universe, and he spent countless hours indulging in his interests in astronomy, numismatics, and model railroads. He was also a member of the Freemasons. His passions reflected his inquisitive spirit and love for learning, which he shared with his grandchildren, instilling in them a sense of curiosity about the world.
A compassionate and kind-hearted soul, Thomas touched the lives of many. He will be remembered for his warm smile, gentle nature, and the laughter he brought to those around him.
