Thomas Robert Cook

June 12, 1940 — February 26, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Robert Cook, 84, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, on February 26, 2025. Born on June 12, 1940, in Philadelphia, to the late Clarence and Catherine (nee Spratt) Cook, Thomas lived a life marked by resilient spirit and dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Thomas was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend, cherishing his time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved children, Colleen Puzycki, Thomas Cook (Nancy), Catherine Smith (Roger), and Anthony Cook (Kristina), his grandchildren, Steven, Brian (Jennifer), Jennifer (Thomas), Roger Jr. (Amanda), Timothy, Thomas III, and Kaylyn, his great grandchildren, Jacob, Steven, Tyler, Chloe, Guinevere, Rosalia, and Grayson. Each of them holds cherished memories of Thomas that they will carry with them forever. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Constance, as well as his siblings, Clarence Cook, William Cook, Robert Cook, Elizabeth Steele, Cassie Cook, and Charles Cook.

Throughout his life, Thomas found fulfillment in his work as a truck driver, where he spent years traveling the roads and sharing stories with fellow drivers and coworkers. His sense of adventure and love for the open road exemplified his proud independence and dedication to providing for his family. Thomas was also an entrepreneur, selling pretzels and T-Shirts, and he worked in the food service industry.

In his free time, Thomas enjoyed playing pool with his friends at both the Bensalem and Bristol Senior Centers. Together with his wife, Constance, Thomas enjoyed visiting the casinos in Atlantic City and vacationing in Wildwood and Florida with family, flea marketing, playing the lottery, eating ice cream, and eating at buffets. He really enjoyed driving around in his midnight blue ’52 Ford pickup truck and most of all spending time with his family, especially when they were playing cards. Thomas liked to make everyone laugh and always said, “Laughter is the best medicine”.

Funeral services in honor of Thomas will be held on March 7, 2025. A public viewing will take place at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 at 10:30 AM. He will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Thomas’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/.

We invite family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Thomas to join us in celebrating his life and legacy. His warmth, humor, and gentle spirit will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all. In this time of grief, we take solace in the love and memories we shared with him. LLL
