Thomas H. Phillips Jr.

June 26, 1943 — July 10, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas H. Phillips Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and cherished friend, who left us peacefully on July 10, 2025 at the age of 82. Born on June 26, 1943, in Waterbury, Connecticut, to the late Thomas and Virginia (nee Lowell) Phillips, Thomas will be remembered for his unwavering spirit, kindness, and the deep love he shared with those around him.

Thomas served proudly in the U.S. Navy from August 3, 1961, reaching the rank of AKCS, Aviation Storekeeper Senior Chief, before honorably retiring on July 1, 1991, after 30 years of service. He also worked in logistics for RCA and Lockheed Martin, and he later worked as the Purchasing Agent for the Bensalem School District.

Education was important to Thomas, who was a member of Sr. Enlisted Academy, Class 10 in the Navy and later, took classes at Bucks County Community College

His dedication to service extended beyond his military tenure; he was a valued member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the U.S. Navy Memorial, where he continually honored the legacy of those who have served our nation. Thomas also found joy and camaraderie as a member of the Navy Golf Team, where he forged lasting friendships that enriched his life.

In the community, Thomas was known for his commitment to nurturing the youth. He coached baseball and actively participated in the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, sharing his passion and knowledge with a new generation.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Roberta Phillips, and their children: Lisa Harrigan (Edward), Thomas Phillips (Loredana Madafferi), and Christian Phillips (Amy), his grandchildren, Casey Marie Hawk (Cheyenne), Morgan N. Harrigan, Elizabeth N. Williams (Devin), Karl Phillips (Alysha), Harrison Phillips (Nemissa), Eli Phillips, and Lucas Phillips, as well as his great grandchildren, Tessa James Hawk, Jack Hawk, Nathan F. Williams, Kaiya Phillips, and Fritz Phillips. Each of them carries forward the values and lessons he imparted, and they will forever hold his memory in their hearts. Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Rebstad (the late Emery).
