Thomas Risich

Thomas Risich of Bensalem passed away Sunday May 5, 2024, at the age of 77. Born Philadelphia, PA to the late Anna (Karaim) and Michael F. Risich and was a resident of Bensalem for the past 60 years. An Army veteran, Tom dedicated himself to his country and to his community, operating Vesta, INC for over five decades. As a prominent member of the Bensalem community, he served with distinction as a Republican Committeeman and as the former chair of the Bensalem Planning Commission.

His passion for the Philadelphia Phillies was unmatched, and he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from model trains to Doo-wop and Motown music but Tom’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Julia (Schaub) Risich. He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Michael T. Risich (Christina) and Thomas C. Risich; His 4 grandchildren: Taylor, Brandon, Isabella and Mabel and his brother, Raymond T. Risich (Martha) and many other loving family members and friends. Tom was also preceded in death by his sister, Helen Allred.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Monday eve from 6 to 8 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, and again Tuesday from 9 to 10 AM, followed by his service at 10 AM.
