Thomas Kent Tallman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Kent Tallman on Friday December 19, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on November 27, 1963, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Kent embarked on a remarkable journey through life that saw him take on many roles, including miner, diver, stuntman, movie extra, artist, and most importantly, an explorer of the world around him.

Kent was a self-made artist, dedicating his time and passion to his craft. His creative spirit and vibrant personality left an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He approached life with a deep sense of spirituality and an open heart, embracing the many beliefs and perspectives that made our world a richer place.

He is survived by his loving mother, Betty Mae Moss; his son, Cloud Eagle Jesimiel Basil Tallman; and his daughter, Aiyana Tallman; as well as Mackenzie Poole and Edwin “Eddie” Grier Poole IV, who thought of Kent as a father figure, and countless loving friends and extended family members, all of whom will carry his memory forward in their hearts. Kent was preceded in death by his father, Charles Thomas Tallman.
