Violet Freeman

Violet G. Freeman (nee Smith), age 97 of Bensalem passed away Sunday April 5, 2015 at Aria Health Torresdale. Born in Phila., and a resident of the Andalusia section of Bensalem for 74 years. Violet was a homemaker, a member of the Trevose Sr. Citizens, Penndel Bowling League, Bensalem Sr. Center, active in line dance, and enjoyed Roller Skating at the Cornwell’s Skating Rink. Violet was also an avid painter specifically oil painting, loved reading, and doing crossword puzzles and was a talented seamstress. Beloved wife of the late Harry Freeman. She will be sadly missed by her children; Lee H. Freeman Sr. (Donna Jean), Jerald Freeman (Patricia Eileen), and Jill S. Freeman (John Tyciak). Also survived by 3 grandchildren; Lee H. Freeman Jr.(Lori Guthrie), Kathryn Mae Sandelli and Kimberly Ann Freeman. Preceded in death by her brother Warren Smith. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday 1:00 pm at the Tomlinson Funeral Home 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 followed by her service at 2:00 pm. Interment private.
