Willa Mae Turner, of Trevose, passed away on October 13th. She was 80 years old. Willa worked as an assembly worker for Ford Electronics for over 10 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching soap operas, reading the bible and with her morning coffee, reading the paper, and was a member of the Wings of Victory Dance Group. Willa Mae also spent time visiting nursing homes, writing cards, and calling people to check in on them. Willa Mae was preceded in death by her Loving husband of 47 years, Willie B. Turner as well as her parents: Daniel and Mabel. She is survived by her children: Anthony Turner (Monique) and Bernadette Howard-Teel (Michael). Also surviving Willa Mae are her grandchildren: Phil Howard Jr., Ashlee Howard, Alaya Turner, Christopher Vincent, William Taylor, Dominique Taylor and her great grandchildren: Cierra Howard Derry, Ariana Howard, Cameron Howard, and Aniyah Howard. Willa Mae is also survived by her sisters: Viola Brown and Lillie Nesmith as well as her father, Carl McCray. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday, from 9 to 11 AM at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, 4300 Somerton Road, Trevose, PA 19053, followed by her Service at 11:00 AM. The family requests that relatives and friends do NOT send flowers to Willa Mae's service.
