William Allen Mccloskey

William A. McCloskey Sr., age 84 of Bensalem passed away December 3, 2021 at St. Joseph Manor in Meadowbrook, PA. Born in the Eddington section of Bensalem and a lifelong resident. Bill was a graduate of Bensalem High School, Class of 1955. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Bill was employed as a truck driver with J.D. Morrissey for 35 years before his retirement. He was a lifelong member of the Cornwells Fire Company #1, Station #16. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 61 years, Alice “Carol” McCloskey (Lane). Devoted father of William A. McCloskey Jr. (Donna) and Linda Rispo (John). Also survived by 5 grandchildren; John, Matthew, Ryan, William and Brian and 4 great grandchildren; Owen, Maximus, Lilyanna and Jackson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Wednesday 10:00 am at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 followed by his service at 11:00 am. Interment Hatboro Cemetery, Hatboro, PA. Memorial contributions in Bill’s name may be made to the Cornwells Fire Co., 2049 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020.
