It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William J. Wasylenko, Sr., fondly known as Mustang Bill, on Sunday January 18, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on March 14, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Yolanda (Magnavita) and Michael W. Wasylenko.

Bill was a proud graduate of Central High School, Class of 1969. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, from Temple University, in 1973. His work ethic and passion for mechanics led him to establish Mustang Stables, in 1980. It became a beloved automotive shop, where he shared his love for cars with his community. Bill's legacy will be carried on by his Nephew/Godson, Thomas Noetzel, who joined the shop in 2021.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Bill was a proud US Army Veteran. He was also an active member of the Levittown Memorial American Legion Post #960 and the Bensalem Lions Club. He found joy in serving others and giving back to the community.

Those who knew Bill will remember him not just for his love of cars, but for his warmth and compassion. He was always helping people and giving his advice. He could always be found singing a song or two at karaoke nights. Let's not forget his fabulous accordion playing. He could sing any song on it. Spending time with his family/grandkids was one of his favorite things to do. Bill had a love for animals and always cared for them, even though he was highly allergic, he loved them.

Bill leaves behind his beloved daughters, Lisa Bernardes (Victor) and Erica Peterson (Brian); His five amazing grandchildren, Angelina, Victor, Cassidy, Marcus, and Jacob, all of whom he adored wholeheartedly. Bill is also survived by his siblings, Michael Wasylenko (Lydia); Carol Landis, and James “Jim” Wasylenko (Terry) and many other loving extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Rosemary T. (Carroll) son, William J. Wasylenko, Jr, brother in law, Joe Landis and his brother, Bobby Wasylenko.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday January 23, 2026 from 6 to 8 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 and again Saturday January 24, 2026 from 10 to 11 at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
